Life is full of silly walks and dead parrots

Well April has come and gone. Had a blast at Pub Italia and Summerhays for my bday. Was quite the gong show, soooo glad my parents watched Ava the next day. Ava and I went for lunch with my friend Trish from high school. Was great seeing her again and catching up :) Went to game 3 of the playoffs, Ottawa vs Pitt, with my friend Roy. Seeing a playoff game live is quite the experience. Had a blast even though the Sens lost. Finally heard from a daycare, was getting worried since I have to go back to work at the beg of July. It's in the glebe on 5th Ave near the canal. Super nice place and the staff are really friendly, so of course I said yes. Applied for my subsidy and I only have to pay 46$ a month towards daycare. Sooo happy since the reg monthly amount for an infant is 1700$.
Had a great Mother's day with the fam. Didn't do to much during the day, way to cold. Had lobster and mussels for dinner.

Well douche has been his usual self. Received a facebook chat msg from his asking to see Ava. I replied back that I would have to talk to my lawyer. He replied "Even for something personal?....." Then it dawned on my what he was really after. Like seriously???? trying again and using his daughter to get it. Especially since my lawyer sent him a letter saying all communication is to go through them if he wants to see her. Have I heard anything from my lawyer about setting up a visit??? nope nadda. So obv don't think he really wanted to see her. The next stunt he pulled was taking some pics of her from my profile album and posting them on this wall. Each pic had comments like "Daddy's princess..., beautiful blue eyes like her dad..." UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE trying to make himself look like the dotting father he's NOT. Probably trying to pick up or impress some chick. Pics are deleted so they are not on his wall anymore. If he wants pics of her for himself he can ask through my lawyer. Obv that won't happen since he would only want them for some ulterior motive ie trying to pick up chicks.

Man i suck at this blog thing. Always forgetting to post, oh well lol

Well February was a pain. He actually did show up to court, even though he never responded to any of the papers they sent him. So i was pretty shocked when I arrived and saw him sitting there. The kicker was he brought some chick with him lol Like who seriously brings there gf or present piece of ass to court???? Esp when its a custody/support case. What an idiot. So when it gets to our case he actually says he's contesting the DNA test we did back in August, saying I faked it. If I had ANY other choice obv I would've taken it. Don't exactly want to be stuck dealing with him for the rest of my life. Not much else for Feb. Being at home I was able to watch most of the Olympics. The final Gold medal hockey game was awesome. Ava and I went to watch it at my brothers house.

Hmmm March hasn't really been that eventful. Was DD for my brothers birthday, was fun going out with him and his friends. But i didn't last as long as they did lol So I was only DD for the beginning. My lawyers office called the other day and surprise surprise he IS her father. What a shocker! Going to be interesting to see what kind of shit he'll pull next. Just want this whole thing done and over with. I've started the job hunt. Can't go back to shift work as a single mom, it's not fair to Ava. I've applied to a few gov't jobs,hopefully I can get something. Mon-Fri, great pay, benefits and pension.

My birthday is coming up soon! Figure for my actual bday I'll have dinner with some friends at Pub Italia. So love that place, been going there for years. My friend has her bday on the same day and is celebrating hers at Lonestar on the Saturday. Once Ava is down and my parents are fine with watching her I'll stop by for a bit. Well that's pretty much it for now.

End of December

Well for the rest of December I tried to hang out with my bff Stephen as much as humanly possible before he moved out West. Had a big dinner at my parents house, so he could see them one last time. Laura and I went to the airport to see him off on the 28th. Can't wait till I can save money and take Ava to visit him in Calgary!!!

Christmas was nice and relaxing. Just spent it with my parents, bro and Ava. Haha was soooo cute watching her open presents. Eating wrapping paper was the extent of her opening gifts. And of course she had TONS of presents. Boxing day Ava and I went for lunch with a bunch of co-workers to Lone Star. Was good seeing everyone from work again. Though a few have found better jobs lol The next day the fam went over to my Uncle and Aunts house for a late xmas gathering. My cousin was in town so we had the dinner then. New Years didn't do anything to crazy. Went to Laura's place for a bit then obv ended up at Summerhays. Soooooo sick of that place.....but it keeps dragging ya back. Let loose and drank so needless to say I was not feeling super great the next day.

January

Well Ava had her 6 month check up and shots at the beg of the month. She is growing like a weed. Getting super long. And she has discovered shrieking and babbling at the top of her lungs. Quite fun..... She's gone through most veg with no reactions. So made a whole bunch of pureed veg and froze it. Going through fruits and she's not a fan...weird.

Chrissy had baby Hailey on the 10th :) Soooo happy for her. Hailey's such a gorgeous lil girl. Visited her while she was in the hospital. And wow does Hailey have TONS of hair. When Chrissy was finally home Laura, Ava and I stopped by for a visit. We were discussing who was going to corrupt who 1st.....haha 6 mths apart. They will be trouble! Went and saw Avatar!!!!!! BEST MOVIE EVER!! Effin awesome, it gave me goose pimples lol

Well douches 30 day time limit was up on the wkd of the 9th. No response to my lawyer or the courts. But..... she said if she did her from a lawyer she would have to grant him an extension. But obv nobody heard anything and the court date is Feb 2nd. And if he does show up the courts may grant him an extension to file his papers. And that royally pisses me off. I know they want to give them every benefit of the doubt......but he sooo doesn't deserve any! He's gone out of his way to abandon his daughter, wants nothing to do with her and pay support. Yet they are willing to give him any break he can get. But again that's if he shows up on tues. REALLY REALLY hope he doesn't show up. Don't want to see him or deal with him. But have a feeling he won't. Would have to explain to Daddy dearest why he wants the whole day off. Figure he still hasn't told his fam. They prolly would've made him get a lawyer and I would've heard something like "why are you doing this to our son??? blah blah" Just want to get tues over with. If he's a no show my lawyer will file for an uncontested trial and it will go on ahead without him. I'll get the custody I want and he'll still get fucked over and have to pay support.

Well that's it for Dec and Jan. Didn't really do to much else that's noteworthy. Ohh yes I got one of those wooden sleds for Ava. When it's a tad warmer I want to pull her on the canal during Winterlude :)

So haven't posted in awhile. Not much to write about day by day when on mat leave lol Soooooo what to start with hmmmmm. Well went to my BFF Stephen's work xmas party. Was a complete gong show. A bunch of our friends work for that company and whenever they are all out together craziness always ensues. Was awesome seeing them again, crazy that most of us have kids......lolIt was at the Rideau Carleton Raceway, super nice place. Had a huge buffet and of course lots of slot machines!!! haha didn't win much, just enough to cover what I spent lol

Next went to go see the Sens vs Habs game. Was good until Ottawa started playing like huge asstards ugh somethings never change........ Those two are the big outings I've had. One thing that's great living with the rents. Once Ava is down for the night I can go chill with my friends for a bit :)

In between all that I saw my other BFF Laura. Known her pretty much since grade 2, we go wayyyyy back. Chilled with her and her bfriend a few times. My other BFF Chrissy, who i've known since high school. There it was the 3 of us. Laura, Chrissy and I. She came and raided a bunch of Ava's old clothes. Her lil one is due at the beg of Jan. Soooooo can't wait to meet her (yes it's a girl)

Now onto the lil one hehe. Well she has started rice cereal.......very interesting. She opens her mouth for the spoon but once the cereal is in there it just dribbles out haha that or she likes to chew on the spoon. All in all it's fun watching her but messy! She is soooo finding her voice and just likes to yell and shout. My mom like to joke saying " Pay back's a bitch ain't it" haha. I was NOT the easiest child to deal with..........god i'm hoping Ava does NOT turn out like me :s

Well that about sums up my last few weeks. Looking forward to Christmas. Gonna be sooo cute watching Ava! She'll be more int in eating the wrapping paper then her toys lol

Well this weekend was pretty fun.

Friday I went out with my BFF Stephen. We went to Georgetown Pub and just chilled watching a few hockey games. I'm trying to hang out as much as possible with him, since he's moving to Calgary at the end of Dec. No idea how i'm going to handle him moving. He's been there through sooo much. I've known him since around 1999. We are pretty much the same person and I can tell him everything. Ugh if it wasn't for BB messenger I would be lost when he moves. But luckily for that we can keep in touch easily.

Sat I didn't do to much. Watched Ava play for most of the day and watching her do her spit bubble thing. She soo loves it, esp when she's in the Jolly Jumper. Just making that motor boat sound with her lips..... the puddle I have to clean up is quite phenomenal haha. Watched the game and of course we lost in the shoot out. At least we got a point though

Sunday Ava had her swim lesson in the morning. Obv she was doing her spit/motor boat all throughout the class. Everyone thought it was sooo cute lol. My mom and I went shopping in the aft. Spent wayyy to much money at MAC. Even though we had a tough time throughout high school we get along ok now, but we still have our issues. That's a story for another time ugh. But I'm not complaining since she bought my makeup hehe We also had wayy to many issues not spending money at baby Gap. Grandma def wants Ava to be well dressed lol
My bro came over for a fam dinner ( and yes I'm living with the rents until I go back to work, damn EI and no child support) but dinner was great. Had an awesome lamb roast. After, I met with Stephen at the New Eddy to watch the Grey Cup. So not into football, but I do understand the gist of it. And can't believe Sask lost due to a technicality ughh very shityyy (note* my fam is from Winnipeg so we all go for the West teams) In the end it was a very awesome weekend. And can't wait for Stephen's xmas pty next weekend.

Well this is my first blog...hmmm so bare with me. I guess a little bit about myself won't hurt. I'm 31 and I have a beautiful 5 month old daughter. I'm outgoing yet quiet and shy at times. I usually don't like to be the center of attention, I love to watch from the outside. Though at times depending on my mood I'll put myself in there. I am definitely a lot louder (esp during a hockey game haha) and more outspoken now then I was in the past. And won't put up with a lot of crap from people

I was always or I guess more "felt" like the shadow of the group. I didn't consider myself popular, but did have a large group of friends. But we weren't part of the norm or popular crowds. But I was part of the raver/skater crowd throughout high school. We didn't follow the MEC trend that was popular during high school. I was quiet and just kinda followed the crowd, wasn't a leader. I was really easy going and almost too nice. Hence why alot of people would use that to their advantage.

Don't want to spend to much time on the past but all of that made me stronger and made me into who I am now. I will speak up for myself and won't let people use me or push me around anymore. I'll tell it like it is.

Okie dokie now to talk about the reason I guess I wanted to start blogging. Soooo much I need to get off my chest. Ugh alot of crap going on recently. I mentioned early I have a daughter. She is my life, sooo beatiful and quirky haha. Loves making spit bubbles and just pretty much spraying it all over the place. I would never change anything about her buuuttttt I would change who her father is. He is an ABSOLUTE DOUCHEBAG. He had the nerve throughout the entire pregnancy to promise me he would be there 100% for her IF she turned out to be his. Obv that's not the case. We did the test and she was def his. That was when she was 2 months. For about 2 weeks after he would txt asking about her and only stopped by 3-4 times and only for about 5-10 min. And I suggested we make up our own support and visitation aggreement and he agreed. But each txt slowly became longer and longer apart. After a while i just was soooo fed up and let him know that I'm going to do everything legally now. It wasn't a threat but I just couldn't wait around for him to start helping support his daughter. Also I just wanted to cover my butt and get papers stating what custody I had. He said "Sounds good! Alot easier for me so see you in court" He even ignored the agreement letter my lawyer sent. So hence why it's now going to court.

So pretty much that's where I am right now. I just can't get over how someone does not want to be involved in such a beautiful little girls life. Guess it's just sooo hard to give up the partying and getting laid. Well whatever he can pretty much go fuck himself right now.

Haha well that little rant helped a bit. Anyhoo it's such a gorgeous day outside. Can't spend it all day on the comp.
